Yep, you heard me right…. this is mu dream LAUNDRY room. Haha, it sounds ridiculous to say, but once you have seen this room I think you will agree that ANYONE would be happy to do laundry if it meant you could be in this room for a while.

Brooke Gianetti of Velvet and Linen is one of my favorite bloggers. Her home is unbelievably gorgeous. I’m serious, its on a whole new level. Everything is done to perfection and I love the monochromatic scheme they have throughout the house. The color palette is so soothing and they have SO many great antiques. Its amazing, you need to check out her blog.

Anyway, back to the laundry room…

I mean LOOK at this room. I love that farmhouse sink and the bleached countertops. And the baskets, I love it all.

Who wouldn’t want to have gorgeous linen draperies to hide all of their laundry room mess?

And I am DYING over this door…. this is an antique door that leads into the laundry room. I feel like having such a beautiful door like this makes the laundry room almost seem like a hidden treasure of some sort. Also, I should mention that the laundry room also connects straight into Brooke’s closet… how genius is that?!

I know the laundry room cant be a priority for all of us, tis usually one of the last places we want to spent time and money on, but I do think its s good idea to at least think about that space and do what you can to make it beautiful, since a lot of us spend more time than we wish in there.
