The color of the year: Emerald Green

Did everyone have a good St. Patrick’s day yesterday? I didn’t really celebrate it, but I thought that in honor of the green holiday we could talk about Pantone’s 2013 color of the year:

Emerald has been popping up all over the place this year and I have a feeling we are just getting started. I have been noticing a lot more of the color in the fashion world, and I have definitely notices it’s influence in the design world too.

Personally I love the idea of decorating with pops of emerald. I think the color is fun, but still elegant and easy to incorporate into most any room. What do you think about 2013′s color of the year?
