There is a Southern Living Showcase home currently giving tours in Nashville! I went to see it over the weekend and it is gorgeous, if you live in Nashville you should really go see it this week (it’s off Granny White near Maryland Farms) I was very impressed with what I saw. For those of you who do not live in Nashville, no need to worry, I have prepared a virtual tour for all of you.
This is part 1 of the tour. We will start with the main floor:
Exterior Paint: Softer Tan, Sherwin Williams SW6141
Dining Room: Oyster White SW7637
2 things that blew me away about this room were the antique mirrors on the far wall and the base of this table. It is carved wood and made to look like aged driftwood.
Here is a close up of the mirrors. This is the part of the tour I like to call “where’s Waldo Sarah”… I even dressed like Waldo too. You like the booties we had to wear?
Here is a close up of the cabinet detail:
Moving on to the Kitchen now:
This is a close up of the back splash tile
This is the informal dining area. You can’t tell in this picture but that table is amazing. It is painted with a metallic paint and then distressed.
Living Room: Oyster White SW7637
This Patio had the most amazing concrete floor. It was stained, and then stained with a pattern to imitate a rug, then the whole thing was sealed, (I wish I had a good picture). I think that is a brilliant idea for an outdoor space since a rug would have eventually molded over time.
Master Bathroom: Filmy Green SW7190
These mirrors in the master bath were made from reclaimed frames and refinished. You would have never know they had been re-used. Frames were made by Belle Meade Framers
Powder Room: Magnetic Gray SW7058 base coat. Faux Finish on top.
The paint on these walls is incredible. It looks like wall paper. It is really intricate and interesting, but soft enough not to be overwhelming in the small space. I also love the detail of the sink being painted to coordinate.
The Study had an amazing antique clock on the wall. It was reclaimed off of a building outside of Chicago by Garden Park Antiques.
It took up the entire wall, floor to ceiling.
Laundry Room: Oyster White SW7637
And that concludes part 1 of the tour, stay tuned for the upper level.
